At a loss for words

Dinner

Dinner tonight was Beef Stroganoff
We had a good first full day. Weather was hot but dry.

Scouts are doing just fine.

Hoping for a cool evening of hanging out and visiting the trading post.

Monday lunch is a riblet sandwich with onion rings and watermelon wedges.

Technology and Nature

So here we sit in beautiful Camp Bashore pecking away at our laptop computers and the camp computers. There's something inherently wrong with this... :)

But technology is a wonderful thing - everyone at home can see how we are doing.

And we are all doing well.

New parents take note - we had a very heavy thunderstorm come through last night. All of our New Scouts got up on their own, secured their tents during the heavy rains, admired the light show of lightning, and went back to sleep. No one came knocking on our leader tents.

I was very proud of them.

Monday Breakfast

Good morning! Today's breakfast was Waffles with sausage and hash browns.
We had some thunder storms roll through @ 5AM. Nobody got scared (whew). Looks to be another hot humid day. Temps should be cooler than yesterday.

Bedtime

It's been a long day but we are finally settling down for bed.
We attended a cool campfire program and the raided the Trading post for some goodies and merit badge supplies.

Now the temps are finally cooling off and some boys are already asleep.

Big day tomorrow.
Will post some photos in the morning once we get the boys off to their classes.

Dinner time

Tonight's dinner is Turkey with stuffing, corn, gravy, carrot cake.

We are all settled into our campsite and very hungry.
